Wax Hostel - Faro

We loved the friendly and attentive staff, especially the amazing manager Isadora and her team member Susana. the place was spotless and comfortable, with enough bathrooms for everyone. the lagoon right in the backyard was a delightful surprise. the hostel had a modern villa style with open plan lounge, a well-equipped kitchen with river views, and a calm terrace. the beds were comfortable and there were big wooden storage lockers for each person. Safety was prioritized with individual key access. the location was also great, as the beach was just across the road.

We felt very lucky during our stay and had nothing to complain about.

I recently stayed at Wax Hostel for a few nights, and it was a great experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and the location was perfect for some beach time. The hostel had a lovely patio facing the lagoon, which provided a peaceful and scenic view. The beds were really comfortable and the room had convenient phone/usb charging points. Despite being off-season, the general store nearby made it easy to enjoy some snacks on the hostel terrace while watching the birds on the river banks. I had a pleasant and relaxing stay at Wax.

I had a fantastic stay at a hostel close to the airport, making it super convenient for traveling. the location couldn't have been better, with a beautiful beach right across the street. the room was clean, comfortable, and had a cozy bed with a USB plug. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the terrace offered an amazing view. I loved the inclusive breakfast at the nearby restobar, overlooking the beach.

Laundry facilities were not available on-site.

The hostel offered a beautiful terrace overlooking a picturesque lagoon, where you could relax and soak in the serenity. Additionally, the hostel provided a charging port and light for each bunk, which was a convenient feature for travelers needing to charge their devices.

One downside of the hostel was the lack of cleanliness in certain areas, particularly the kitchen and the fridge. Another drawback was the limited options for nearby amenities.

wax hostel feels like a boutique gem by the beach. the terrace is perfect for plane watching. the friendly staff made me feel at home, especially the kind woman who helped with a personal matter. obrigada for the support and hugs, it meant so much xx

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy hostel. The beds were comfortable, and I loved having two sockets right next to my bed for charging my devices. The hostel provided me with towels and a storage box with a lock, making me feel safe and secure. The adjacent restaurant had a terrace with a fine beach view, and I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious wraps and red sangria. The staff, especially Isadora, the manager, were very good too ensure I had a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this hostel for its cleanliness, comfort, and amazing location.

The communal seating areas were incredibly cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. the beds in the dorm rooms were of high quality and provided a comfortable night's sleep. being able to leave my luggage before and after check-in/check-out was a convenient feature that made traveling much easier.

The showers in the hostel were a major disappointment. the water pressure was extremely low, making it nearly impossible to take a proper shower.

We had a fantastic stay at Wax! the location is perfect, with great communication and a helpful staff. the hostel itself is clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Our room was exactly what we wanted and the friendly vibe from everyone staying there added to the experience.

It's an absolute bargain and we only wish we could have stayed longer than one night. Cons: Cannot find any fault.

The showers were excellent and the living area was very nice. Our favorite part was the terrace, which offered a magnificent view that made our holiday truly special. The hostel also provided a small but lovely breakfast. Wax Hostel exceeded our expectations and provided us with a unique and enjoyable experience.

I had an amazing stay at this little gem of a hostel. The value for money was great and the room was comfortable. The location couldn't have been better, with bars, restaurants, and the beach just a stone's throw away. The staff, especially Catarina, were nice and went out of their way to assist me with everything I needed.
